Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, IND AS, and local regulations.

- Conduct regular financial analysis to provide actionable insights on business performance, trends, and KPIs for the management team.

- Oversee statutory and internal audits, and manage relationships with external auditors.

- Manage and improve Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting.

Budgeting & Cost Management:

- Develop and implement annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts aligned with business objectives.

- Monitor and analyze budget variances proactively and recommend cost control measures.

- Work closely with operational and department heads to achieve budgetary and strategic targets.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

- Design, implement, and monitor strong internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

- Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, VAT, and other indirect taxes; oversee timely filings and closure of audits.

- Regularly review internal processes and policies for improvements and adherence to industry best practices.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

- Manage company cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimized working capital utilization.

- Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks related to currency, credit, or operational issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Attribute Requirement:

- Qualification Chartered Accountant (CA), with 12-18 years post-qualification

- Industry Exp. Minimum 5-8 years in manufacturing, preferably consumer durables

- People Mgmt. Experience leading/managing a finance team of at least 5 members

- Auditing Hands-on with statutory, internal, tax, and compliance audits

- Technical Proficient with IFRS, Ind AS, GST, and cost optimization

- Leadership Strong in strategic thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Advanced knowledge in financial planning, controls, and compliance

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

- Deep understanding of ERP/Finance management systems and advanced MS Excel skills

- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills

- High attention to detail and deadline orientation

Reporting Structure:

- Reports to: CFO, Finance Director, or Managing Director

- Works closely with: Operations, Sales, Production, HR, and External Auditors
