About the Role: We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Financial Controller to manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations. This leadership role demands proven expertise in transition management, multi-country accounting, and process migration across accounting software (Xero or equivalent systems).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transition Management & Process Optimization:

- Lead the end-to-end transition of finance processes from client entities to the Global Capability Center (GCC).

- Conduct detailed process mapping, workflow understanding, and gap analysis.

- Standardize and document migrated processes with SOPs and robust control checkpoints.

- Facilitate seamless knowledge transfer between client teams and local units.

- Establish system-wide accounting and reporting frameworks aligned with Group policies.

2. Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

- Deliver actionable financial insights to senior leadership regarding project profitability and strategy.

- Build financial models, custom dashboards, and performance reporting frameworks.

- Align IT project costing directly with broader organizational goals.

3. Multi-Geography Accounting & Reporting:

- Oversee global accounting, financial reporting, and complex reconciliations across jurisdictions.

- Approve bank reconciliations, vendor disbursements, and client collections.

- Direct intercompany transactions, financial consolidation, and monthly close cycles.

- Maintain compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local regulatory frameworks.

4. Internal Controls & Governance:

- Establish and monitor strong internal control frameworks to ensure data integrity and audit readiness.

- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants across regions (US, NZ, AU, EU).

- Guarantee timely statutory filings and full adherence to local governance standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Experience: 16 to 18+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting.

- Core Skills: Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end accounting operations, FP&A, and financial consolidations.

- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero).

- Industry Domain: Prior experience in the IT Services or IT Consulting sector is highly preferred.
