Role Overview:

As the Financial Controller, you will be a critical member of our finance team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining a strong internal control environment. You will collaborate closely with the CFO, senior management, and various department heads to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in our financial processes. This role directly impacts the company's financial health and compliance, contributing to its overall success and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insightful commentary and variance analysis to senior management for informed decision-making.

- Develop and maintain the annual budget, working with department heads to align financial plans with strategic objectives and monitor performance against budget throughout the year.

- Implement and maintain a robust internal control framework, safeguarding company assets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Oversee cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management, to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.

- Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to non-financial audiences.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

- Experience in cost accounting and inventory management.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.

- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
