About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal control functions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate reporting, supporting strategic planning, and maintaining robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with [IFRS/GAAP].
- Provide management with timely and accurate financial reports, dashboards, and insights.
- Lead variance analysis and assist with business performance reviews.
- Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
- Lead periodic forecasting exercises and long-term financial modeling.
- Track performance against budget and provide actionable insights.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards and internal accounting policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and statutory filings.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls across all financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and legal requirements.
- Assist in risk management and ensure integrity of financial systems and data.
- Provide financial input to business strategy, pricing, and investment decisions.
- Optimize working capital and cash flow management.
- Evaluate new tools, systems, or processes to improve efficiency.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 7-12 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles.
- CA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership or controller-level role.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Tally, QuickBooks).
