About the Role:

- We are looking for a senior Finance Controller to lead the complete Finance & Accounting function for a growing multinational GCC in Hyderabad.

- The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IT/BPO multinational or GCC environments, with proven exposure to setting up and strengthening finance processes, controls and operations from the ground up.

- This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong US stakeholder management and the ability to work closely with global finance teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end Finance & Accounting function for the GCC.

- Set up, strengthen and continuously improve finance processes, controls, policies and operating frameworks.

- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and overall financial performance.

- Manage financial reporting, accounting, taxation, audits and regulatory compliance.

- Oversee cash flow, banking operations, treasury and forex activities.

- Manage project finance requirements supporting the GCC's expansion and growth.

- Review financial trends, variances and key business metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.

- Partner closely with US-based stakeholders and global finance counterparts.

- Build strong relationships with business leaders and provide strategic finance support.

- Establish appropriate MIS, reporting mechanisms, KPIs and governance frameworks.

- Drive process improvement, automation and operational efficiencies across Finance.

- Manage external auditors, consultants and outsourced service providers.

- Build, develop and retain a high-performing Finance team.

- Support GCC leadership on strategic business initiatives beyond the Finance function.

Candidate Requirements:

- CA qualification is mandatory.

- 18+ years of overall Finance experience, with significant senior leadership experience.

- Strong experience in IT / BPO multinational companies, GCCs, GICs or captive environments.

- Proven experience handling the complete gamut of Finance & Accounting for a global / multi national organisation.

- Strong experience in setting up / transitioning / transforming Finance processes in a GCC or offshore environment.

- Excellent experience managing US-based stakeholders and global finance teams.

- Strong understanding of US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.

- Good knowledge of SOX, IFRS, Indian taxation and global regulatory requirements.

- Exposure to ERP/accounting systems and finance transformation initiatives.

- Experience working across multiple geographies is preferred.

- Strong people leadership, stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to build processes, create governance and establish a scalable Finance function.

Ideal Background:

- Preferred: Finance Controller / Financial Controller / Head Finance / Finance Director / Senior Finance Leader from: Global IT Services companies, BPO / BPM companies, GCC / GIC / Captive centres, Global Shared Services / Global Business Services, or US multinational companies with India operations.

Key differentiator: Candidates who have set up or significantly transformed the Finance function/processes of the GCC/GIC will be preferred.
