Role Overview:

As a Financial Controller, you will serve as the strategic backbone of our finance function, overseeing the integrity of our financial reporting and the robustness of our internal control frameworks. You will lead the end-to-end financial closing process, ensuring seamless compliance with IND AS, IFRS, and GAAP standards while providing actionable insights to senior leadership. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional department heads, external auditors, and executive stakeholders to drive fiscal discipline and operational efficiency. By maintaining rigorous oversight of statutory audits and financial statements, you will directly influence the company's long-term financial health and support informed decision-making at the board level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure absolute accuracy and adherence to IND AS and IFRS regulatory requirements.

- Manage the end-to-end statutory audit process by coordinating with external auditors and internal teams to ensure timely closure and minimal audit observations.

- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing variance analysis that enables management to optimize resource allocation and achieve organizational growth targets.

- Strengthen internal control systems by identifying process gaps and implementing robust accounting policies that mitigate financial risk and prevent revenue leakage.

- Lead complex taxation matters, including direct and indirect tax compliance, to ensure the organization remains tax-efficient and fully compliant with evolving legislative mandates.

- Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and technical excellence in financial analysis and reporting.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial reporting environments, with a deep technical understanding of IND AS, IFRS, and GAAP frameworks.

- Proven ability to translate intricate financial data into strategic narratives for executive stakeholders, requiring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of improving internal control environments and streamlining accounting operations for large-scale organizations.

- Ability to navigate multi-location operations effectively, maintaining high standards of financial governance regardless of the physical work setup, whether remote, hybrid, or on-site.

- A professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA is preferred, complemented by a minimum of 10 - 16 years of progressive experience in financial control and statutory compliance.
