Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller (Chartered Accountant with 14 - 20 years of experience) in financial leadership roles to oversee the financial architecture and operational integrity of a prominent Family Office (must have worked with promotors) based in Delhi NCR.
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary steward of the family's wealth, managing complex financial reporting, tax planning, and investment accounting.
You will work in close collaboration with the family principals, external legal counsel, and investment advisors to ensure seamless capital allocation and regulatory compliance.
By providing strategic financial oversight and maintaining robust internal controls, you will directly influence the preservation and growth of multi-generational assets, ensuring that all financial operations are executed with precision, discretion, and long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the end-to-end financial reporting process to provide the family principals with accurate, real-time visibility into their global asset performance and liquidity positions.
- Manage complex taxation strategies, including cross-border tax planning and regulatory filings, to optimize the family's tax efficiency and ensure full compliance with evolving statutory requirements.
- Oversee Family Office operations by streamlining accounting workflows and implementing rigorous internal control frameworks to safeguard assets and mitigate operational risks.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to manage entity structuring and ensure that all investment vehicles are aligned with the family's governance objectives.
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and performance dashboards to facilitate informed decision-making regarding capital deployment and philanthropic initiatives.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing sophisticated financial portfolios, with a deep understanding of investment accounting and multi-entity consolidation.
- Proven ability to navigate intricate taxation landscapes, including international tax treaties and domestic regulatory frameworks, to protect and grow capital.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the maturity and professional gravitas required to act as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and family principals.
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of translating complex financial data into actionable strategic insights for stakeholders.
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) supported by 14 - 20 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles.
