Job Title: Financial Controller

About the Role:

Michael Page is mandated to hire a Financial Controller for a leading Ed-Tech firm based out of Noida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial efficiency in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

- Prepare budget and financial forecasts, analyze variances, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

- Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements and regulatory reporting.

- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process.

- Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.

- Ensure compliance with tax laws and government reporting requirements.

- Develop and implement business processes and internal controls.

Key Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in financial management.

- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, accounting principles, tax laws, and financial controls.

- Strong leadership and communication abilities.

- Ability to thrive in a 6-day work-from-office environment.

- Prefers candidates from Startup Background.
