Financial Controller - D2C Beauty Business - CA

About the Role:

We are hiring for a Financial Controller for a fast-growing D2C beauty brand to lead financial reporting, taxation, audits, compliance, and controllership functions while partnering with leadership to drive financial discipline and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures

- Oversee financial reporting, variance analysis, and internal controls

- Lead direct and indirect tax compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)

- Manage statutory, tax, internal, and GST audits

- Ensure ROC, MCA, and regulatory compliance

- Support budgeting, MIS, board reporting, and business analysis

- Drive cash flow management and working capital optimization

- Lead finance process improvements and automation

- Partner with business teams on cost control and unit economics

- Mentor and manage the finance team

Requirements :

- Qualified CA with ~5 years of post-qualification experience

- Strong experience in financial controllership, taxation, audits, and compliance

- Knowledge of Ind AS and statutory reporting

- Startup or high-growth company experience preferred

- Strong Excel, ERP, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience :

- CA graduates of 2020-21

- D2C, Consumer, Beauty, Retail, or FMCG industry exposure
