TITLE Financial Controller  INDUSTRY BFSI- Payment Bank  REPORTS TO CFO  JOB PURPOSE  - Responsible for overall Finance and Accounts function of the payment bank including accounting, management reporting, regulatory reporting (RBI), taxation, audit and related regulatory compliance  - Provide business decision support to evaluate long term and short term strategic business opportunities  - Support and facilitate growth of the business and expedite decision making  - Put processes and systems in place, monitor and ensure financial discipline  KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY  Corporate Planning, budgeting, MIS and cost control  - Development and monitoring of total budget in coordination with top management   - Providing timely and accurate periodical and need-based MIS and analysis of operational and financial performance that includes budget v/s actuals   - Working with cost centres and cost optimization.  - Help the senior management develop budgetary planning and cost management framework in alignment with the strategic plan  - Forecasting of Capital requirements and obtaining Board approvals  Fund management and treasury activities   - Cash-flow management, treasury management including assessing and managing cash flows to support short and medium-term plans  - Making Treasury investments to optimize yields, maximizing returns while hedging against risks  Assurance and tax and compliance  - Oversight of financial operations, internal controls and coordination of all financial audits  - Ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines, put checks and balances in place  - Financial Statements/ related reporting in compliance with applicable regulatory/statutory reporting requirements  - Ensuring and monitoring of control environment over financial operations and financial reporting in keeping with the best practices   - Management of tax positions, tax risks (including arising from international and domestic transfer pricing arrangements) and tax planning with a view to optimise the tax outflows.   Other  - Maintain and nurture relationship with investors, regulators, bankers, auditors and consultants/advisors.  - Team coaching and development   CONTACTS WITH OTHERS  Top Management   Functional Heads  DIMENSIONS  - Team size : 10  KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED  - Chartered Accountant  - 10+ years- experience of which at least the most recent 5 years in Financial Services Industry or Fintech industry  SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED (IF ANY)  - Excellent Analytical skills  - Interpersonal skills.
