Financial Controller Role : Financial Controller-Head of Finance - Formulate, develop and deliver the company s overall financial strategy. - Incumbent will be responsible for Accounts, Finance and Controller functions of the company. - Also, the role would include working closely with the investors to understand, and deliver against, their governance/reporting requirements. - The Controller will operate as a bridge between external investors and the management team. - Managing end to end cash-flows, budgets and variances. - MIS and Reporting. - Managing corporate taxes. - Drive fundraising strategy and ensure that its capital structure is optimal and allows the business to reach its full potential. - Work actively as a business partner and take ownership of the financial plan and revenue model to drive revenue maximization. - Develop and lead the annual forecast and budgeting process and assess how best to effectively deploy capital. - Manage legal matters with an in-house and external legal team, compliance and ensure great corporate governance. - Overseeing the preparation of financial statements to management, investors and other stakeholders. - Qualified CA with 7-11 years of experience in start up environment with at least 5-6 years in a leadership role. - Should have worked in Edutech, Fintech, ConsumerTech or any other tech based start-ups industry exposure will be ideal. - Ability to understand business drivers is critical. - Must be ambitious, a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
