Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the organization's financial controllership function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, robust internal controls, and effective financial governance. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with extensive experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, Consumer Durables, or Consumer Technology industries. The role requires strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, statutory compliance, audit management, working capital optimization, and business partnering while leading high-performing finance teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead the organization's financial controllership function and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

- Ensure timely financial reporting with accurate analysis and actionable business insights.

- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory compliance.

- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.

- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.

- Partner with business leaders to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.

- Manage working capital, cash flow planning, liquidity, and treasury operations.

- Oversee financial accounting, reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and closing activities.

- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.

- Develop financial policies, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives.

- Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams while driving operational excellence.

- Support ERP implementation, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- 12-18 years of progressive experience in Financial Controllership.

- Strong industry experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, Consumer Durables, or Consumer Technology.

- Proven expertise in financial reporting, audits, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls.

- Experience leading finance teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and business partnering skills.

- Experience driving finance transformation and process improvement initiatives is preferred.
