- Manage end-to-end accounting operations across General Ledger, AP/AR, Payroll, and Fixed Assets, ensuring books are maintained in full compliance with Ind AS.

- Drive an accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including reconciliations and intercompany transactions.

- Monitor cash bank reconciliations, and working capital movements; support treasury operations including banking relationships, debt facilities, and liquidity planning.

- Establish and maintain a robust chart of accounts and GL coding structure aligned to business needs.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Statement of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement and support the VP - Finance with management reporting packs and investor reporting as required.

2. ERP & Financial Systems Management :

- Serve as the finance lead for the ERP system (NetSuite / Zoho Books or equivalent), overseeing module governance, configuration, and day-to-day system operations.

- Drive automation of recurring accounting and reporting workflows - bank reconciliations, invoice processing, payroll journals, and period-close checklists.

- Maintain data integrity across financial systems; define and enforce master data governance standards.

3. Audit, Internal Controls & Tax Compliance :

- Lead coordination with statutory and tax auditors; ensure timely audit closure and full implementation of recommendations.

- Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework (IFC/ICFR) to ensure financial integrity; conduct periodic control testing and drive timely remediation of gaps.

- Ensure full and timely compliance with GST (returns, reconciliations, refunds), TDS/TCS, advance tax, and income tax requirements.

4. Team Leadership & Development :

- Lead, mentor, and develop the core accounting and compliance team.

- Build a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance function.

- Define clear KPIs for the team; conduct regular performance reviews and identify development opportunities.

Desired Skills & Experience :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10-14 years of post-qualification experience; startup/SaaS/tech exposure preferred.

- Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, GST, and direct taxation.

- Hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite / Zoho Books or equivalent); exposure to implementations or migrations is a plus.

- Proven ability to drive process automation and improve accounting efficiency.

- Experience managing statutory and tax audits end-to-end, with sound understanding of IFC/ICFR.

- High attention to detail with strong ownership and ability to work under tight timelines.
