Position - Financial Controller
Working Days - 5 Days Working
Reporting To - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Team Handling - Managing and leading a team of 15-20 finance professionals
CTC - 25 LPA to 30 LPA
Industry Preference
Candidates from Logistics / Supply Chain / Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Transportation / Warehousing industry preferred
Qualification:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
- 10-18 years of post-qualification experience preferred
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to lead the entire finance and accounts function for our organization. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the logistics or supply chain industry and should be capable of handling financial strategy, compliance, reporting, budgeting, audits, controls, and team management while working closely with the CEO and leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee complete finance and accounting operations of the organization
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate MIS reporting and management dashboards
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, Companies Act, and other applicable laws
- Coordinate and manage internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits
- Maintain strong internal financial controls and governance framework
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulatory authorities
Business & Commercial Finance
- Support leadership team in strategic business decisions
- Monitor profitability by branch, customer, and business vertical
- Drive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives
- Evaluate financial risks and recommend corrective actions
- Support contract evaluations, pricing, and commercial negotiations from finance perspective
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a finance team of 15-20 members
- Ensure proper delegation, performance management, and team development
- Build a high-performance finance culture within the organization
Banking & Treasury
- Manage banking relationships and working capital requirements
- Handle fund raising, banking documentation, and credit facilities
- Monitor debtor collections and creditor management
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls
- Expertise in GST, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability
- Experience in ERP systems and advanced Excel/MIS reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
