About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Controller (Senior Manager) to oversee our company's financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a track record of delivering accurate and timely financial results.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards - IndAS.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with various departments.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and highlight variances with actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and ensure the timely completion of audits.
- Manage daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Optimize fund utilization and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Prior work, e.g., with Big4 preferred.
- Prior working experience with Ind AS financial and audit closing with Big 4 auditors.
- Up to 7 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work, e.g., with Big 4.
- Working exposure with Ind AS accounting and reporting
