We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and driving strategic initiatives particularly in transfer pricing and intercompany financial structuring. Candidates with prior experience in Big 4 firms will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning, Reporting & Control
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the companys financial operations
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
2. Transfer Pricing & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and monitor transfer pricing policies across global entities
- Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, and legal teams for compliance and documentation
- Lead pricing studies, economic and benchmarking analyses
- Support tax filings, audits, and global tax structuring initiatives
3. Strategic Finance & Decision Support
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and evaluate investment opportunities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes
4. Treasury, Cash Flow, and Working Capital Management
- Manage liquidity, banking relationships, and intercompany cash flows
- Optimize working capital and capital structure
5. Audit & Regulatory Compliance
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Ensure accurate and timely statutory filings (TDS, GST, income tax, transfer pricing reports, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with regulations in India and other relevant jurisdictions
Key Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- 46 years of experience in core finance roles with significant exposure to transfer pricing
- Prior Big 4 experience (minimum 35 years preferred)
- Strong expertise in intercompany transactions and international taxation
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, Ind-AS, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
