Position : Finance Controller

Job Location : Nigeria

Reporting to : Group Finance Head

Job Overview:

Looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead agri-commodity trading operations in Nigeria by managing operations, finance, banking, forex, export execution and team leadership, while ensuring strong control on unit economics and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own overall P&L and business performance

- Own unit economics, deal costing and margin analysis

- Take quick commercial decisions in volatile markets

- Oversee export execution: CHA, transporters, warehouses, ports

- Work with shipping lines and freight forwarders

- Manage banking relationships and trade finance facilities

- Handle forex booking, conversion and exposure management

- Set up and strengthen internal controls across operations and finance

- Ensure accurate, timely MIS and financial reporting to Group HQ

- Lead teams and manage HR/performance issues.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI or MBA Finance from Top-Tier institutes like IIM preferred

- Africa experience: At least 5+ years of experience working in Nigeria or West Africa.

- Export experience: Atheist 3+ years of experience in export-related businesses

- Experienced in banking and treasury function

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Mobility: Willingness to travel across Africa for work related purposes.
