Financial Controller

About the Company:

A globally connected organization with a strong focus on financial discipline, governance, and operational excellence. The role offers an opportunity to lead end-to-end controllership for the India operations while working closely with global reporting stakeholders and senior leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, reporting, and consolidation.

- Lead statutory audits, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, transfer pricing, and FEMA.

- Drive finance operations across P2P, O2C, reconciliations, and compliance.

- Partner on budgeting, forecasting, MIS, cost accounting, and profitability analysis.

- Manage global subsidiary reporting and cross-border compliance.

- Lead and develop the finance team while partnering with senior stakeholders, auditors, lenders, and investors.

Skills and Qualifications:

- CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA

- 10 - 15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in controllership / senior finance operations.

- Mandatory Big 4 / Big 6 external audit experience.

- Minimum 5 years of direct finance team leadership.

- Hands-on experience in controllership, financial close, statutory reporting, and audit.

- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, Indian direct & indirect taxation, and FEMA.

- Global subsidiary reporting and cross-border compliance experience mandatory.

- M&A integration and PE-backed experience preferred.
