Financial Controller

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller with 3- 4 years of post-MBA experience from a reputed institute. The candidate should have strong exposure to financial planning, decision-making, and controlling functions within a startup environment, with a stable career track (maximum 1-2 job changes).

Key Responsibilities :

1. Credit Management :

- Evaluate creditworthiness of travel agents, corporate clients, and partners

- Set and review credit limits

- Approve or reject credit requests

2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Control :

- Monitor outstanding invoices

- Ensure timely billing and collections

- Reduce overdue payments and bad debt

3. Collections & Follow-ups :

- Coordinate with clients for payments

- Handle escalations for delayed payments

- Negotiate payment plans if needed

4. Risk Management :

- Identify high-risk clients

- Block or restrict services for defaulters

- Maintain healthy cash flow

5. Reconciliation & Reporting :

- Reconcile customer accounts

- Prepare aging reports (30/60/90 days)

- MIS reports for management

6. Coordination :

- Work with :

a. Sales team (for client onboarding)

b. Finance team (for accounting)

c. Operations (ticketing, bookings)

7. Policy & Compliance :

- Implement credit control policies

- Ensure compliance with company rules and contracts
