Financial Controller

As the Financial Controller, you will be a critical leader responsible for overseeing all financial activities. You will work closely with the CFO and senior management team to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and strategic financial planning. This role directly impacts the company's financial health and compliance, enabling informed decision-making and supporting our continued expansion in the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for internal and external stakeholders.

- Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives and strategic initiatives.

- Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to management for improved financial performance.

- Lead financial transformation initiatives, including the implementation of new accounting systems and processes, to enhance efficiency and scalability.

- Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits and tax filings.

- Provide financial guidance and support to business units, partnering with them to achieve their financial goals and objectives.

- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial transformation.

- Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team effectively.

- Strong understanding of IFRS and local accounting regulations.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Experience in implementing and managing financial systems.

- A Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.

- Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

- Minimum 22 - 30 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
