Financial Controller

Role Overview:

This role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. The Financial Controller will collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and procurement, to drive financial performance and support business growth. This role directly impacts the company's financial health and strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.

- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial projections to support business planning.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST and TDS, and manage tax filings accurately and on time.

- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring the integrity of financial records and the effectiveness of internal controls.

- Develop and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making and performance improvement.

- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Implement and maintain SAP FICO modules, ensuring accurate and efficient financial data management.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including company law and other relevant legislation.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Proven ability to manage and lead a finance team effectively.

- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GST, TDS, and other relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.

- Strong understanding of internal control principles and practices.

- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO module implementation and management.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA or MBA in Finance preferred.

- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in financial controllership roles.
