Financial Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to lead the end-to-end financial operations of the organization.

The ideal candidate will oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, compliance, and internal controls to ensure the financial health and stability of the company.

This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strong leadership ability, and deep understanding of financial management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Analyze financial performance and variance reports; identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership to improve financial outcomes and profitability.

Accounting & Financial Operations:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations.

- Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

- Maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP / IFRS standards.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

- Develop and enforce strong internal control policies, processes, and governance structures.

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage audit cycles efficiently.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning.

- Optimize treasury operations, banking relationships, and funding requirements.

- Monitor cost structures and implement cost-control initiatives where needed.

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, board, and stakeholders.

- Present insights and data-driven dashboards for informed decision-making.

- Ensure reporting transparency and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.

Strategic Leadership:

- Partner with senior management on strategic planning, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.

- Contribute to investment evaluations, capex planning, and business expansion initiatives.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting teams.

Systems & Process Optimization:

- Implement and optimize ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, etc.

- Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in finance operations.

- Standardize financial processes and enforce best-in-class practices
