Role Overview:

You will be responsible for end-to-end financial management including reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and client communication. You'll act as the key link between the owners, internal departments, and the accounting hub to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review accurate monthly/quarterly financial reports - P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow with commentary.

2. Manage budgeting, fund requests, and cash flow planning to meet vessel needs.

3. Perform balance sheet scrutiny and resolve open items within 3 months.

4. Liaise with vessel owners, address queries, and ensure satisfaction with reports.

5. Coordinate with internal teams (fleet ops, accounts hub) for timely data flow.

6. Track operational metrics, prevent revenue leakage, and highlight cost-saving opportunities.

7. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

8. Monitor payables, verify bank details, and ensure timely vendor payments.

9. Handle audits, insurance claims, and financial onboarding for vessel Masters & Chief Engineers.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 5+ years in financial accounting or reporting, preferably in shipping/maritime sector.

2. Qualified or finalist: ACCA / CIMA / CA.

3. Proficiency in ShipSure or equivalent ERP is a plus.

4. Strong stakeholder communication and client handling experience.

5. Self-driven with excellent time management, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
