Financial Analyst - BFSI

Job Role- Financial Analyst

Location- Pune - Magarpatta - SEZ

Contract Period - 6 to 9 months

Qualification (Mandatory) - Semi CA/ CA or CMA with FP& A Exp

- We are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A professional for a period of 6 - 9 months on contract to work on Spin off (separation) project

- Candidate is expected to provide support during Project cost tracking, month close, forecasting, budgeting and Variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

Project support

- Create, track and maintain Asset lists under the purview of division to be transferred

- Help in creating the backup (PO, invoice) for Asset transfer

- Work with Logistics, Stores, and Engineering teams to get the asset invoice copies for SEZ compliance, and audit requirements

- Support track the Infra cost based on PR's, PO's raised for Project against the approved plan

- Support track and report monthly Cost of project activity center

- Support project resource cost tracking and reporting using existing project time tracking application

- Support related month-end activities during transition for the carved out division

- Support related variance analysis for costs, headcount, and engineering project expenses

- Prepare base files for forecast, Budget & upload

- Prepare basic financial reports and trackers for project reviews

- Provide administrative and analytical support towards project

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- 3-7+ years in FP&A or corporate finance; prior experience in Separation/ Divestiture projects is a plus.

Technical Skills & Competencies

- Basic understanding of accounting principles

- Advanced Excel proficiency (macros, complex formulas) ERP Oracle

- Attention to detail and ability to follow processes

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, actionable insights

Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Inter /final CA/CMA
