Financial Analyst


Role Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

This role requires a strong grasp of financial concepts, data analysis tools, and business acumen to evaluate financial performance and support growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Create detailed financial models to evaluate new initiatives, investments, pricing strategies, and cost structures.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on financial performance for leadership review.

- Perform variance analysis between actuals and budget/forecast, investigating significant deviations.

- Collaborate with various departments (sales, operations, marketing) to gather data and provide financial insights.

- Conduct profitability analysis, ROI calculations, and scenario planning.

- Monitor key financial KPIs and assist in preparing dashboards and executive presentations.

- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely financial information.

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's /master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Masters or MBA preferred).

- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or investment analysis.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and financial modeling.

- Experience with financial systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Anaplan (depending on company tech stack).

- Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.

- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
