Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst responsible for gathering, validating, standardizing, and analyzing financial estimates and market data from a variety of sources. The role involves collaborating with internal research, product, and technology teams to ensure accurate consensus outputs that meet global quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consensus Data Management:

- Aggregate and maintain consensus estimates (Income Statement, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Key Performance Indicators).

- Capture and standardize broker estimates across various key financial line items and KPIs.

- Track sector specific earnings releases, broker revisions, and management guidance updates.

- Ensure timely incorporation of estimate changes across reporting cycles (PreQ / PostQ).

- Monitor estimate dispersion and analyst coverage trends.

- Maintain historical consensus databases.

2. Financial Statement & Earnings Analysis:

- Interpret financial statements under various accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS etc.).

- Track quarterly earnings releases and update models accordingly.

- Reconcile reported numbers vs. consensus expectations.

- Support creation of earnings calendars and estimate tracking dashboards.

- Maintain event-based updates (M&A, restructuring, one-offs impacting consensus).

3. Data Quality & Validation:

- Perform data integrity checks and quality control audits to ensure high data accuracy and consistency.

- Identify anomalies, outliers, and broker inconsistencies.

- Collaborate with internal QA and technology teams to strengthen validation frameworks.

- Maintain documentation of data methodologies and workflows.

4. Financial Modelling Support:

- Maintain standardized earnings models aligned with consensus inputs.

- Assist in KPI mapping and non-GAAP metric standardization.

- Contribute to sector-specific modelling frameworks.

- Work with product teams to improve model structure and scalability.

5. Process Optimization & Automation:

- Identify automation opportunities within data workflows.

- Contribute to process documentation and SOP development.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the consensus lifecycle.

- Support on implementation of Excel/VBA/Python-based efficiencies would be added advantage.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced Excel (lookup functions, pivot tables, modelling).

- Strong understanding of financial statements and revenue drivers.

- Familiarity with financial databases and consensus platforms would be an added advantage.

- Basic knowledge of SQL or data tools (good to have).

- Comfort working with structured and large datasets.
