Role Purpose The Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team within the Finance Shared Services Centre, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, and General Ledger (GL) processes. The role will require driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with global policies, supporting process improvements, and acting as a key point of contact for regional and global finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Operations:


- Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance associates to deliver high-quality services across AR, AP, Payroll, and GL.


- Allocate workloads effectively, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Provide guidance and technical expertise in resolving escalations and complex transactions.

Process Delivery & Governance:


- Oversee daily operations for AR, AP, Payroll, and GL, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Ensure reconciliations, journal postings, and reporting are delivered within deadlines.

- Partner with external and internal auditors during reviews.

Stakeholder Management:


- Act as the primary contact point for global/regional finance teams, regarding finance service delivery.

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparency, responsiveness, and service excellence.


- Support cross-functional projects impacting finance processes.

Continuous Improvement & Transformation:


- Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and standardisation.


- Implement best practices and support global process harmonisation.


- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Duties & responsibilities of your role may change from time to time to meet the needs & requirements of the business.

Essential Competencies:


Youre someone who has:


- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


- Professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) desirable.


- 6 - 8 years of finance experience, with at least 23 years in a supervisory/team lead role in a shared services or multinational environment.


- Strong understanding of AR, AP, Payroll, and GL processes, including IFRS/GAAP principles.


- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365.) and finance tools.


- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.


- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones.


- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.


- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Skills Youre someone who (may) have:


- Exposure to transition projects or process migrations preferred.
