Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities  Responsible for Financial Controllership :  - Drive ICOFR (Internal Control Over Financial Reporting)  - Drive SOX Compliance  - Preparation of Balance Sheet, related Schedules, and Reconciliations  - Ensuring Compliance with Gap Inc policies  - Ensuring Accurate Accruals  - Lease Accounting  Statutory Compliance :  - Statutory Audit under Companies Act, 2013  - Secretarial Compliances including issuing notices under Companies Act etc  - Withholding Tax Compliance  - Goods and Service Tax Compliance including the filing of Returns and Refunds across all locations in India  - Income Tax Compliance under Income Tax Act, 1962  Transfer Pricing Compliance :  - Completing documentation for both India and Bangladesh on Transfer Pricing  - Co-ordinating and supporting the consultants on data compilation in finalizing a Bi-Lateral APA (Advance Pricing Agreement)  Litigations :  - Supporting Consultants and compiling data on Litigations  - Sending all notices to Corporate  - Co-ordinating with Corporate Partners on Income Tax, Goods, and Service Tax and Customs Litigations  Accounts Payable Management-for India and Hong Kong  - Managing Treasury Operations of India  - Investment of Surplus in Deposits and maximizing the Other Income  - Handling Merchandise Support from all Geographies i.e processing of Debit Notes, Sample and Fabric Liability  - Payroll Disbursement and Controls  - Responsible for Financial Process Improvisation  - Ensure setting up of standard operating processes  - Reconciliations  Drive Productivity Initiatives :  - Filing of Incentive under SEIS (Service Export from India Scheme)  - Follow up on Service Tax and Goods and Service Tax Refunds  - Negotiation of prices of services  - Minimizing costs without compromising on quality  Responsible for Supporting Business :  - Exploring opportunities for supporting business  - E-Way Bill implementation  Vendor Management :  - Maintain good relations with vendors  - Send payment register to the stakeholders i.e. vendors
