Finance Project Manager/Controller

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Controller to support the financial performance, compliance, and delivery of complex projects executed from the Coimbatore location. This role works closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure strong project governance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct project risk assessments and drive mitigation actions

- Identify and deliver savings opportunities to improve project Gross Margins

- Coordinate with Bid/Tender teams for financial and commercial inputs

- Ensure tax compliance and execution of tender tax assumptions throughout the project lifecycle

- Prepare and present periodic project financial reviews with detailed analysis

- Control and optimize project results in close collaboration with Project Managers

- Review and analyze balance sheet items linked to projects

- Manage project hedging activities to limit financial exposure

- Ensure accuracy of actuals and estimates to complete (ETC)

- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in project reviews

- Steer Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance of assigned projects

Candidate Profile / Qualifications:

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience

- Strong understanding of project financial management and risk assessment

- Experience with SAP FI & MM modules

- Knowledge of hedging and treasury operations (preferred)

- Prior team handling experience is an advantage

- Experience in a manufacturing or large MNC environment preferred

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset
