Description: We are currently hiring for "Finance Manager" role with a leading SAAS startup based out in Bangalore.
Job Description:
- Prepare management reports, monthly/quarterly forecasts, budgets and analysis for senior management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulations.
- Manage and monitor the company&aposs financial performance, providing regular reports and analysis to the senior management team.
- Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimise financial resources to support the company&aposs operational needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Operations, and HR, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions, to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and maintain positive relationships.
- Stay updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Key Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years experience on the similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry sector.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Proficient in financial software. Knowledge of Quickbooks, Zoho is highly desirable.
