Finance Manager - Bangalore

Position Overview:

- We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee key financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, risk management and regulatory compliance.

- The role involves collaborating closely with the Head of Finance to ensure accurate financial analysis supports strategic decision-making.

- The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in controllership functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closures to ensure accurate financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, tax regulations, GST, and TDS requirements while identifying optimization opportunities.

- Manage statutory audits, tax audits, and internal financial controls (IFC), coordinating with external auditors and consultants.

- Strengthen accounting processes, revenue recognition, and cost allocation for transparency and efficiency.

- Preparation of business vertical P&L, providing detailed analysis of revenues, costs, margins, and key financial drivers.

- Lead variance analysis, forecast revisions, and operational expense control to improve profitability.

- Work with HR, operations, growth, and IT teams to improve financial processes and systems.

- Guide and mentor junior finance team members, fostering their professional growth.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on controllership. A mix of audit and industry experience is a must.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.

- Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.

- Experience in start-ups is a plus.
