About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer & Manager Finance & Accounts to support our Fund operations within GIFT City.
This hybrid role combines regulatory compliance, financial governance, and end-to-end accounting management.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IFSCA/SEBI regulations, deep understanding of finance processes, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with high levels of responsibility and ownership.

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance (Primary Responsibility):
Act as the Designated Compliance Officer for the Fund/FME as required under IFSCA and SEBI regulations.
Ensure full compliance with applicable laws including:
- IFSCA Fund Management Regulations
- SEBI (AIF/FME) Regulations
- SEZ operational and reporting requirements
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, CFT guidelines
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal compliance frameworks, SOPs, and risk-control matrices.
- Prepare and file regulatory returns, periodic reports, disclosures, and certifications with IFSCA/SEBI and other relevant authorities.
- Review changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely organizational compliance.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, compliance consultants, and legal advisors.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation pertaining to governance and regulatory filings.
- Conduct regular internal compliance audits and gap assessments to ensure adherence to applicable laws.
- Train internal teams on compliance obligations, risk policies, and updates to regulations.
Finance & Accounts Management:
- Manage full-spectrum accounting activities including bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and MIS preparation.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities as per applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS/IGAAP).
- Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Handle fund accounting operations including NAV calculations, investor reporting, and income/expense processing (if applicable).
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audit, tax audit, GST audit, internal audits, etc.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in TDS, GST, corporate tax filings, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor financial controls, internal processes, and assist in strengthening internal audit mechanisms.
- Work closely with fund administrators, custodians, bankers, and third-party partners.
Risk Management & Governance:
- Assist in establishing and maintaining robust risk management frameworks aligned with regulatory expectations.
- Monitor operational, compliance, and financial risks; escalate issues proactively.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to governance standards including Board reporting, committee meetings, and documentation.
Operational & Administrative Support:
- Support the management team in due diligence, investor onboarding, documentation review, and operational workflows.
- Maintain proper documentation, agreements, board resolutions, and policy repositories.
- Assist in preparing presentation decks, board meeting materials, and investor reports.
- Coordinate internally across departments to ensure smooth functioning of compliance and finance processes.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- CA and/or CS with minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in a listed company, financial sector entity, or regulated environment (IFSCA/SEBI/RBI/IRDAI/PFRDA).
- Proficiency in accounting systems (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP platforms) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Deep understanding of finance policies, accounting standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, tight timelines, and confidential information responsibly
