Finance Manager

Role Summary
The Unit Finance Head will lead the finance function of the Chandigarh unit, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, profitability, and strategic support across business functions. This is a senior leadership role requiring comprehensive oversight of financial reporting, vendor reconciliations, forecasting, and management information systems (MIS), while partnering cross-functionally to optimize business results in a premium hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and finalize unit-level Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets adhering to corporate standards and timelines.
- Deliver timely, accurate MIS reports with detailed variance analysis to support leadership decision-making.
- Lead the units financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning aligned to growth objectives.
Vendor & Accounts Control
- Oversee vendor reconciliations ensuring accuracy, timely settlements, and prompt dispute resolutions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, credit control, and cash flow to maintain optimum liquidity.
- Strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and optimize working capital usage.
Business Partnering & Analytics
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and procurement teams to provide insightful financial guidance.
- Track event-wise profitability, manage cost allocations, and assist in pricing strategy formulation.
- Support vendor negotiations and client contracts with detailed financial analysis.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and audit regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and accounting practices aligned with corporate governance.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors facilitating smooth and timely audit closures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
- 8 to 12 years of post-qualification experience in finance roles with proven ownership of P&L, balance sheet finalization, MIS reporting, forecasting, and vendor reconciliation.
- Experience within hospitality, catering, F&B, or luxury services sector strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and audit processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent financial software.
