Role Overview

We are hiring a Finance Manager for a premium designer label brand based in Noida. This is a critical leadership role responsible for end-to-end financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, compliance, reporting, taxation, audits, and risk management.

The role will work closely with senior management to support retail expansion, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making, ensuring strong financial controls and sustainable growth in a dynamic fashion retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Budgeting

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

- Track performance vs budget and analyze variances with actionable insights.

- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Accounting, Reporting & MIS

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS, financial statements, and management reports.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal reporting requirements.

Taxation, Compliance & Audit

- Manage direct and indirect taxation including GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory filings.

- Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits; handle auditor queries and closures.

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, statutory, and corporate compliance requirements.

Cost Control & Profitability

- Drive cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives.

- Monitor expenses, vendor payments, and overheads to improve profitability.

- Support pricing, margin analysis, and profitability tracking at product/store level.

Retail Finance & Expansion Support

- Support retail expansion plans, including new store financials and capex evaluation.

- Track store-level performance, P&L, and working capital requirements.

- Partner with operations and supply chain teams on inventory and cash flow management.

Risk Management & Governance

- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation controls.

- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

- Ensure data integrity, audit readiness, and financial discipline across functions.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.

- Work closely with senior leadership, auditors, banks, and external consultants.

- Act as a finance business partner to support growth and decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 5 to 8 years of experience in finance roles, preferably within fashion / retail / consumer brands

- Strong expertise in accounting, taxation, compliance, and MIS

- Experience supporting business finance and growth initiatives

Good-to-Have

- Experience in premium or designer fashion brands

- Exposure to retail store P&L and expansion projects

- Experience working in fast-growing or entrepreneurial environments
