Finance Manager - Beverage Industry - CA/ICWA

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process

- Analyze financial data and prepare MIS reports for management

- Monitor actual vs. budget performance and highlight variances

- Support business decisions with detailed financial analysis

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

- Oversee preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS/local GAAP

- Ensure statutory and internal audit compliance

- Manage tax filings and liaise with local tax consultants and authorities

3. Business Controlling & Cost Management:

- Monitor cost centers, profitability, and cost-saving initiatives

- Work closely with operations and supply chain to identify efficiencies

- Drive inventory controls, production costing, and working capital optimization

4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts

- Manage local banking relationships and oversee fund movements

- Optimize treasury operations, forex planning, and intercompany transactions

5. Systems, Tools & Reporting Automation:

- Strong command over MS Excel for modeling and analysis

- Use Power BI to build dashboards for real-time performance tracking

- Suggest and implement process improvements and automation initiatives

6. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Lead and mentor the local finance team

- Collaborate with sales, production, and HR teams for end-to-end financial visibility

- Act as a key finance business partner for the local management team

Candidate Requirements:

- Qualification: CA / ICWA is mandatory

- Experience: 7+ years in finance roles, preferably in FMCG, beverage, or manufacturing sectors

- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel, strong working knowledge of Power BI

- ERP Experience: Exposure to SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms preferred

- Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, high integrity, leadership, communication, and adaptability

- Preferred: Prior experience working in Africa or other emerging markets
