About the Organisation:

Tripare is a B2B AI-powered business travel platform helping companies manage corporate travel, bookings, expenses and the overall travel experience from one place.

About the role:

Corporate travel involves high transaction volumes and significant working capital. Payments often go out to airlines and hotels before the client payment comes in.

We're looking for our first senior finance hire to take ownership of accounting, tax, cash flow, reconciliations and financial controls, while building a finance function that can support Tripare as we scale.

What you'll do:

- Own accounting, month-end closing and financial reporting under Ind AS.

- Ensure books are closed within 10 working days.

- Manage supplier reconciliations across airline, BSP/consolidator and hotel statements.

- Track refunds, credit notes, commissions and incentives and ensure they are recovered on time.

- Manage corporate receivables, credit limits, invoicing, collections and ageing.

- Monitor DSO and work proactively on overdue payments and bad debt.

- Manage cash flow and working capital, including supplier payments, deposits, credit lines and float.

- Own GST for the travel business, including B2B invoicing, place-of-supply, IT reconciliation, GSTR-2B and GST credit notes.

- Manage TDS, TCS on overseas travel and income-tax requirements.

- Coordinate statutory and internal audits, ROC/secretarial compliance and FEMA requirements wherever applicable.

- Build budgets, monthly MIS and business-level unit economics such as take rate, cost to serve and margin per client.

- Set up finance systems, approval processes and controls, including ERP and automated reconciliation workflows.

- Work with the tech team to improve finance automation and reporting.

- Support fundraising activities, including financial models, data-room preparation and due diligence.

- Build and manage a small accounts/finance team of 2 - 4 people.

What we're looking for:

- CA with 10 - 15 years of post-qualification experience.

- At least 4 years of experience in travel, hospitality, OTA/TMC or another high-volume marketplace environment.

- Strong hands-on experience with supplier reconciliation, payment reconciliation, corporate credit and collections.

- Good understanding of GST and TDS, particularly in the context of travel services.

- Experience managing month-end close, audits and investor/startup reporting.

- Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP/accounting systems.

- Comfortable working with technology teams to automate finance processes.

Good to have:

- Experience in travel, OTA/TMC or another high-volume transaction business.

- Exposure to fundraising, due diligence or IPO readiness.

- Experience automating finance processes with technology teams.
