Finance Manager for a Category III AIF

Job Description:

A leading financial firm is hiring a Finance Manager for its Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).

Ideal candidates are CAs or MBAs with 3-7 years of experience.

Role responsibilities include: audit, compliance, taxation, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and modeling.

Complete ownership, expertise with audits, strong analytical skills and familiarity with fund structures are necessary. Great opportunity to grow in the alternative investments space.

Audit, Compliance & Taxes:

- Ensure timely completion of statutory and internal audits

- Ensure timely completion of end to end AIF regulations

- Drafting and finalization on of annual / quarterly Balance Sheets

- Tax planning to optimize taxes for the Company in accordance with the laws and ensuring timely tax refunds

- Ensuring timely completion on of direct/ indirect (GST) filings

- Ensuring timely regulatory compliances (IT/RoC/GST) / management of secretarial functions

- Contract management: Review of agreements with vendors/ customers/ channel partners/ Banks AIF Regulations

Data and MIS:

- Oversee financial planning including creation on of financial models, and monthly/annual budgets in collaboration on with the leadership team

- Ensure timely preparation on of monthly financials MISs and business MISs

- Analysing cost/expense trends and deviations and propose necessary actions to improve margins
