Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Reporting
- Lead and train the internal accounting team (QuickBooks)
- Set up accurate financial books, P&L, and balance sheets from scratch
- Clean and reconcile two years of legacy financial data and spreadsheets
- Maintain consistency across multiple entities (India, US, Dubai)
2. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop consolidated monthly financial reports
- Track company-wide budgets and approve spends
- Forecast cash flows and operating margins across verticals (B2B, B2C, EOR)
- Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory norms across jurisdictions
3. Treasury & Banking
- Manage global banking operations and intercompany fund transfers
- Build and maintain banking relationships for credit, overdraft, and liquidity lines
- Work with founders to secure financing, optimize FX conversions, and manage reserves
4. Leadership & Controls
- Create spend control systems and finance SOPs
- Approve founder payouts, team reimbursements, and incentive disbursements
- Coordinate with external CA, legal, and compliance partners
- Mentor and upskill the internal team on modern financial operations
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in finance or banking (preferably ex-banker or fintech background)
- Strong command over QuickBooks, Excel/Sheets, and financial automation tools
- Experience managing multiple entities or holding companies
- Deep understanding of fund flow, compliance, and taxation
- Impeccable written and spoken English
- Hindi fluency to manage and train local accounting staff
- Comfortable with hybrid work - maximum 3 days/week in Hyderabad
