Finance Lead (Fundraising and Strategy)

We are preparing for our Series A and need someone to take full ownership of our financial health. This isn't just a bookkeeping role. You will be the person ensuring our numbers tell a clear story to investors and that we are fully prepared for the rigor of due diligence.

What you will do:

- Clean up the books: Take our current financial records and make them investor-ready. You will ensure everything is accurate, compliant, and structured for a high-growth scale.

- Manage the fundraise: You will be the point person for the fundraising process. This includes building the financial models, preparing the data room, and handling questions from VCs during due diligence.

- Strategic planning: Work closely with the founders to figure out how we should spend the capital we raise. You will help us understand our burn, our runway, and our path to the next milestone.

- Compliance and Reporting: Set up the systems for regular financial reporting so we never have to "scramble" for numbers again.

Who you are:

- You have done this before: You have ideally been part of a startup through a Series A or B round. You know what VCs look for and where the typical red flags are in a cap table or P&L.

- You are a detail person: You can spot a discrepancy in a spreadsheet from a mile away. You take pride in having "clean" books.

- You can zoom out: While you love the details, you also understand the big picture. You can explain the "why" behind the numbers to the leadership team and external partners.

- You are a builder: We don't have all the processes in place yet. You should be excited about creating them from scratch rather than just following a manual.
