Role: Finance Lead

Location: Bengaluru

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Finance Lead to take complete ownership of FP&A, MIS, and financial reporting. You will be responsible for building financial visibility, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, and enabling leadership with insights for strategic decision-making.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on role where you will serve as the anchor of the finance function. While bookkeeping and compliance are handled externally, a working knowledge of accounting will help you collaborate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.

- Own MIS and reporting, delivering clear and timely financial insights to leadership and investors.

- Build and enhance financial models to support decision-making across product, operations, and business functions.

- Partner with business leaders to assess financial impact of new initiatives, pricing strategies, and growth opportunities.

- Establish and refine processes, dashboards, and controls to scale the finance function efficiently.

- Liaise with external accounting partners for reconciliations, compliance, and audit readiness.

- Support investor reporting and board-level financial requirements.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills; comfortable diving deep into data for insights.

Desired Qualifications:

- 4-7 years of relevant experience in Business Finance / FP&A / MIS / Reporting roles.

- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is a plus.

- Working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping (experience with Tally is a bonus).

- CA or MBA preferred, but not mandatory.

- Prior startup experience will be an advantage.
