Finance Head - Startup - CA

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end finance and controllership functions, including accounting, financial reporting, and compliance

- Drive financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making

- Ensure strong financial controls, governance frameworks, and adherence to regulatory requirements

- Oversee audits (internal & external) and ensure timely closure with accurate documentation and reporting

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to ensure optimal utilization of funds

- Partner with leadership to provide insights on business performance, cost optimization, and growth opportunities

- Establish and streamline finance processes, systems, and automation in a fast-paced startup environment

- Liaise with external stakeholders including investors, auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies

Skills & Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant is mandatory

- 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in finance, with strong exposure to controllership and startup environments

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes

- Proven ability to build and scale finance processes in a high-growth setting

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

- High ownership, adaptability, and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
