Finance Functional Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics NAV BC

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze client business requirements and map them to Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central solutions.

Configure and implement Finance modules including:

- General Ledger (GL)

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Fixed Assets

- Cash & Bank Management

- Budgeting and Financial Reporting

- Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and gap-fit analysis with stakeholders.

- Prepare functional design documents (FDD), process flows, and user manuals.

- Coordinate with technical teams for customization, integrations, and report development.

- Perform system testing, UAT support, and deployment activities.

- Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.

- Troubleshoot finance-related system issues and recommend process improvements.

- Assist in data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.

- Ensure project deliverables are completed within timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience working on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.

- Hands-on experience in Finance module implementation and support.

- Knowledge of GST, taxation, and financial compliance processes is preferred.

- Experience in requirement analysis, documentation, and client communication.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Business Central cloud implementations.

- Understanding of Power BI, Power Automate, or related Microsoft technologies.

- Exposure to manufacturing, trading, or distribution industry processes.

- Microsoft Dynamics certification will be an added advantage.
