Finance Controller/ Head Finance

Role Summary

Lead the end-to-end finance function for a fast-growing personal care brand, driving financial governance, business partnering, fundraising, and investor relations. Act as a strategic advisor to founders and leadership while ensuring strong controls, compliance, and scalable finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Controllership

- Reporting, taxation, treasury, audits, and compliance

- Manage monthly/quarterly closures and financial statements

- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks

- Drive working capital and cash flow optimization

Planning & Business Finance

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

- Deliver MIS, KPIs, and variance analysis to leadership

- Support pricing, margins, and profitability improvement initiatives

- Provide financial models for strategic decisions

Fundraising & Investor Relations

- Lead equity/debt fundraising, financial modelling, and due diligence

- Manage investor/board reporting and stakeholder communication

- Liaise with banks, investors, and financial institutions

- Support valuations, negotiations, and transactions

Team Leadership

- Build and mentor the finance team

- Drive automation and process efficiencies

Ideal Profile

- CA with 10-15 years of experience in controllership + FP&A + fundraising

- Prior experience in consumer/FMCG/start-up environments preferred

- Strong financial modelling, compliance, and stakeholder management skills

- Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused
