Finance Controller - Warehousing Solutions - Logistics Firm

Job Description:

- Lead financial forecasting, strategy and planning for the Warehousing Solutions vertical.

- Spearhead balance sheet, commercial analysis, P&L and cash forecast process, including reviewing with Senior Leadership.

- Work with stakeholders to evaluate the impact of business strategies.

- Creating high-quality accounting memorandums for senior management and auditors.

- Developing recurring reviews with business units to ensure financial statement disclosures are complete and on track.

- Monitor and proactively strategize profit enhancement through financial strategies.

- Enhance & integrate finance and product development by establishing finance targets and guiding design and decisions towards attainment of these targets.

- Evaluate large scale revenue contracts and recommend accounting treatment for senior management review.

- Prepare review presentations and reports as required by the Regional manager to present it to Management on monthly basis.

- Support business with areas for potential revenue leakage and margin improvement.

- Commercial analysis for increase in productivity and efficiency as well as cost reduction.

- Analysis for pricing quoted to customers.

- Finalisation of gross margin, monitor job closure.

- To prepare SOPs and processes for all the finance activities in the South region and suggest improvements.

- To ensure all these SOP and processes are followed on day to day basis.

- To look after the work assigned for other entities and business units.

-Assistance wherever required for other BU's as well.

- Any Other Work assigned by Corporate Finance team or Regional Manager.

Qualification:

- CA or MBA Finance qualification mandatory.

- 5+ years of experience in commercial analysis, financial planning and analysis.

- Extraordinary ability to strategize in especially ambiguous environments.

- Excellent modelling skills in spreadsheet tools.

- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

- Extremely collaborative and team-oriented personality.
