Finance Controller - Bengaluru / Technology Company | Turnaround & Growth Opportunity

A growing technology company in Bengaluru is looking for a young, ambitious and highly hands-on Chartered Accountant to take end-to-end ownership of its finance function.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for a CA with 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience to work directly with the CEO, Board and investors and play a key role in a business turnaround and growth journey.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own accounting, controllership and monthly financial closing

- Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS

- Manage 13-week cash-flow forecasting, treasury and working capital

- Drive receivables, collections and cash discipline

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and financial modelling

- Analyse margins, profitability, costs and business performance

- Partner with the CEO on pricing, contracts, hiring, expenditure and capital allocation

- Oversee GST, TDS, income tax, audits and statutory compliance

- Coordinate with external Company Secretary, auditors and professional advisors

- Manage investor/Board reporting and utilisation of investment capital

- Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance

- Drive finance automation, ERP, dashboards, reporting tools and AI-enabled solutions

Candidate Profile:

- Qualified CA with 3 - 5 years post-qualification experience

- Strong accounting and financial controllership fundamentals

- Good exposure to taxation, compliance, budgeting and MIS

- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills

- Good understanding of cash flow and working capital

- Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment

- Technology- and automation-oriented

- Hands-on exposure to AI for research, analysis and modelling

- Commercially minded with strong business judgement

- High ownership, integrity and attention to detail

- Experience in technology/start-ups, SMEs, promoter-led businesses, Big 4/leading CA firms, FP&A, business finance, investor reporting or turnaround situations would be an advantage.
