Finance Controller - Startup - CA

Key Responsibilities:

1. Controllership - building a strong financial backbone:

- Own monthly financials and consolidation across entities (IndAS)

- Drive month-end closure with clear and well-reconciled books

- Accuracy in accounting

- Lead all audits - statutory, internal, and tax

- Work closely with auditors and CA firms to ensure high-quality outputs

- Support leadership and board reporting with timely and accurate data

- Strengthen internal controls and build robust processes

- Manage banking relationships and day-to-day coordination

2. Taxation - driving disciplined compliance:

- Own tax compliance across all entities and geographies

- Coordinate tax filings - Direct and Indirect Taxes

- Work with consultants and review all submissions before filing

- Manage tax audits and related processes

- Track and manage tax matters with clear context and recommendations

- Ensure timely and well-coordinated compliance across entities

What Makes You a Great Fit:

- CA with 4 years of experience

- Experience in a Big 4 firm or in a company working closely with Big 4 auditors/consultants is preferred

- Strong understanding of IndAS and consolidation

- Experience handling audits end-to-end

- Good grip on Indian taxes
