Reporting : Group Controller

The Financial Controller will be responsible for establishing and leading finance function, ensuring robust financial governance, compliance, and reporting as the company scales rapidly.

This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can design processes from scratch, manage investor relations, and support decision-making in a high-growth, innovation-driven environment..

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and frameworks aligned with Temples growth trajectory.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

- Partner with leadership to evaluate new business models, product launches, and global expansion.

Accounting & Reporting:

- Oversee end-to-end accounting (AP, AR, GL, RTR) and ensure timely closure of books.

- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards.

Governance & Compliance:

- Manage statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.

- Establish internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.

- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulators.

Investor Relations & Fund Management:

- Support fundraising activities, due diligence, and investor reporting.

- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and capital allocation.

- Provide insights on valuation, equity structuring, and financial risk management.

Systems & Transformation:

- Implement ERP/finance systems (SAP S/4 HANA, Oracle, or equivalent).

- Drive automation and digitization of finance processes.

- Build scalable shared service operations for global expansion.

Team Leadership:

- Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA).

- 10-13years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in startups, tech, or health-tech.

- Strong expertise in accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance.

- Proven track record in fundraising support, investor relations, and financial transformation.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and automation tools.
