About the Role

We are one of India's fastest-growing sports footwear brands, driven by innovation, speed, and everyday performance. As we expand rapidly in India and internationally, we are seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to strengthen our financial systems, governance, and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning-

- Partner with leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with business growth and expansion plans.

- Drive long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Provide commercial insights into pricing, margin analysis, and product costing.

Manufacturing & Cost Control -

- Oversee cost accounting, raw material costing, and production cost control.

- Collaborate closely with Production, Purchase, Stores and Planning teams to optimize procurement costs, manufacturing expenses, and inventory levels.

- Monitor working capital utilization with a focus on inventory management and vendor payment cycles.

- Establish cost control measures across manufacturing operations to improve profitability.

Financial Operations & Reporting-

- Lead timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and company policies.

- Manage banking, treasury, and funding operations efficiently.

ERP & Systems Oversight-

- Manage financial modules in ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision) ensuring accuracy and process integrity.

- Lead process automation, digitalization, and real-time reporting capabilities.

Risk Management & Compliance-

- Establish strong internal controls, audit readiness, and governance framework.

- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, investors, and compliance agencies.

- Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership-

- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

- Foster cross-departmental collaboration for financial discipline and accountability.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA preferred.

- Proven experience (5+ years) as Finance Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Navision, Microsoft Dynamics), and MS Excel.

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
