Position: Plant Finance Controller

Location: Bangalore

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Qualification & Experience:

- Qualified ICWA/CMA or CA.

- Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience in manufacturing finance.

- Experience in multi-plant manufacturing operations, preferably with a listed manufacturing company.

- Proven experience in leading and managing finance teams.

- Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, costing, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the plant finance and accounting function, reporting to the CFO.

- Manage, mentor, and develop the plant finance team.

- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and MIS reports to support business planning and decision-making.

- Partner with plant operations to provide manufacturing finance support and improve operational and financial performance.

- Drive product costing, cost control, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Oversee all finance and accounting activities, including month-end and year-end financial closing.

- Prepare, review, and analyze the Plant Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, internal controls, and company policies.

- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.

- Monitor and manage plant cash flow and working capital in coordination with the corporate finance team.

- Oversee inventory management, inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and inventory control processes.

- Drive SAP finance processes and ensure robust system controls, data integrity, and process compliance.

- Coordinate effectively with corporate finance and plant operations to achieve financial and operational objectives.

- Support internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.

- Drive financial discipline and operational excellence across the plant through effective planning, analysis, and governance.
