Role Overview:

The Finance Controller role is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, developing and implementing financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant NBFC regulations. The Finance Controller will work closely with the senior management team, including the CFO, and will be instrumental in driving the company's financial performance and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and NBFC guidelines.

- Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes to support the company's strategic objectives.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable NBFC regulations, including RBI guidelines and statutory reporting requirements.

- Manage the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, to maintain accurate financial records.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management on key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure the integrity of financial audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to optimize funding and treasury management activities.

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities.

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, financial planning, and analysis within the NBFC or banking sector.

- In-depth knowledge of NBFC regulations, RBI guidelines, and accounting standards (Ind AS).

- Proven ability to manage accounting operations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-14 years of relevant experience in the NBFC or banking industry.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
